Charlotte, NC (October 25, 2009) – Socialserve.com staff met with partners from 27 states at two national housing conferences in the first weekend of October. The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) held its national conference in Washington, DC, and the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) met in San Antonio, TX. Socialserve.com shared information with existing and potential partners about new tools for special-needs tenants and to address HPRP programs, as well as disaster housing preparedness and upgrades to rent reasonableness. Throughout October, staff also presented these concepts at state housing conferences in Maine, Florida and North Carolina.
